Job Title: ART Nurse

  • In close collaboration with the facility medical officer, ensure the provision of quality, evidence based ART, PMTCT, prevention and TB services.

Education and Experience

Job Title: Cost Controller – AUN Hotel
Location: Yola

Summary of Position


  • The Cost Controller will be charged with the responsibility of tracking and controlling cost.

  • The duties shall include but NOT limited to estimating cost, reporting cost, negotiating purchases and effective cost management in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Detailed Listing of Responsibilities


  • In charge of Portion Control software.

  • Control food and beverages stock at sales points.

  • Reconciliation of input to output.

  • Computation of yield analysis using manual method and or the Portion Control software.

  • Carry out spot checks at revenue points and Stores.

  • Oversees Store operation to ensure that all inflows and outflows are adequately captured in the Stores software, using the prescribed documents.

  • Pre-determine sales based on the indices of stock movement and balances.

  • Reconciliation of cash received to sales made.

  • Monthly and annual summary of Fixed Assets depreciation schedule

  • Ensure that all Fixed Assets have identification numbers.

  • Maintain appropriate documentation for tracking movement of Fixed Assets.

  • Monthly report on cost of maintenance of each Motor vehicle.

  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Requirements


  • A B.Sc degree in Accounting or a related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.

  • Minimum of five years post NYSC experience in an established accounting firm/institution.

  • Certification in ANAN or ICAN would be an added advantage

  • Excellent proficiency with the use of database management software and other computer devices to perform duties more efficiently.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.

  • Experience with Excel usage will be a plus.

Job Title: Assistant Accountant – AUN Hotel

Summary of Position


  • The Assistant Accountant will be charged with the responsibility of preparing and verifying daily reports as well as daily income/sales, journal entry, preparing authorized refund vouchers and compiling monthly reports.

  • The duties shall include but not limited to investigating and collecting returned items, maintain returned check account, maintain chargeback account, and also prepare monthly balance sheet schedules in line with established standards and procedures.

Detailed Listing of Responsibilities


  • Close supervision over stores operation.

  • Coordination of periodic stock/cash count.

  • Compilation of Proforma Invoices.

  • Issuing of Accounts statements to debtors.

  • Constant reminder to debtors, through phone, electronic mail or personal contacts.

  • Constant monitoring of sales and banqueting functions for proper accountability.

  • Staff payroll check and journalisation.

  • Daily reconciliation of sales against cash collection.

  • Reconciliation of daily cash takings against bank teller.

  • Makes corrections on transaction documents as needed. Adjustments to previous entries

  • Prepares statements and reports that are factual in nature and that require computations (such as totals, sub-totals, or balances) prepares collection reports and/or bank deposits

  • Posts financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers, manually or by electronic equipment.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You Should Know About Honda CV Joints


ATV enthusiasts are extremely passionate about the mechanics of their vehicle and rightfully so. An ATV is a powerful piece of machinery and requires great care and attention. While you do not have to be a grease monkey to know everything about it, there are certain aspects of the ATV everyone should be familiar with regardless of their past experience.


An ATV is no different than any other automobile and follows the same principles. There are certain parts of the ATV that should be checked on a regular basis in order to ensure that it performs at optimal levels, in particularly the Axle Assembly and the CV Joints.

The Axle Assembly and Honda CV Joint – An Important Part


The axle assembly of a Honda model ATV is used to shift power from the transmission to the wheels. This is also the place where the Constant Velocity Joint or the CV joint is located. A CV joint, is part of a drive shaft that attaches to the ATV’s transmission at one end and the wheel at the other. They are designed to be able to bend in any direction while continuing to turn the drive wheels at a constant velocity and are primarily used in front wheel drive vehicles. Because of this, it is very important to protect the CV joints at all times.


The CV Boot – Protector of the Joints


The Honda CV joint in most ATVs is covered with a rubber boot known as the CV Boot. This boot protects the joints from harmful materials. As time goes by, the CV boot begins to deteriorate exposing the CV joint to elements that can inflict damage to it. Therefore, it must be replaced with a new one in order to extend the life of the CV joint. If left unchecked, the joint or the entire axle may get damaged and will need to be replaced.


Repair Solutions and Precautions


Replacing the entire deteriorating axle assembly would be a more practical and cost efficient solution than just replacing the CV joints. Doing so will also save time and labor. Honda ATV’s today come with a fully equipped axle assembly with CV boots and Joints. These boots are vital for the entire assembly to function properly. The axle assembly and the Honda CV boots can also get damaged by road debris and other contaminants such as mud which can build up in the undercarriage of the ATV. This could lead to debris getting inside the seals, letting oil seep though the Honda CV joints. Hence, proper care must be taken in order to avoid such problems.


A decline in ATV performance is a clear indicator that the Honda CV boot or the axle assembly is malfunctioning. Exactly which one would depend on how vigorously the ATV is used and more importantly, how well it is maintained.
