NETWORK PERFORMANCE AND QUALITY SERVICE ENGINEERING


JOB DESCRIPTION

Delivery of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly job to customer

Monitoring Network, analyzing and flagging any degradation observed to the appropriate tem for resolution

Participating in meeting that are delegated to them

Participating in rotational weekend duties to monitor the network as required

Attending to any periodic adhoc request that comes from a customer


REQUIREMENT

BSC/HND degree in Computer Science or related course

3-5 years’ experience in relevant job role

Relevant professional certification and training also an added advantage

Good communication and Interpersonal skills


MULTI TECHNOLOGY RADIO OPTIMIZATION


JOB DESCRIPTION

Daily KPI monitoring and worst cells escalation with detailed recommendations and follow-up to meet contracted KPI’s

Escalation of operational issues to customers and consistent follow up for timely rectification.

Dimension studies with recommendation and follow-up for an on radio, abis, atermux and A interfaces.

BSS parameters (BSC, cell and neighbor parameters) audits to remove non- standing settings as well as discrepancies

Neighbor inconsistency audits to check one-way/ missing relations and parameter alignment

Making redesign recommendations for selected clusters and follow up with detailed analysis and benchmarking post implementation

LAC optimization and paying audits with recommendation for overloaded LAC’s

Proposing parameters and new feature trials along with detailed benchmarking

Analysis of drive tests related to periodic cluster measurements, new site verifications, redesign and other issues based and drive tests.

KPI monitoring and benchmarking support for re-parentings and software upgrades

Capacity loading balancing, neighboring, frequency redesign to enhance the KPI’s

Perform interference analysis, provide the recommended action, and follow up.

Interference with NOC/MS teams and follows up the WO progress status till closure.

Monitor & analyze the WCDMA/ HSPA Radio Network KPI on daily statistics

Achieve & maintain the radio Network Performance as per the contracted KPI’s (Accessibility, Retain- ability, and mobility & service integrity)

Drive test analysis with recommendation to improve the performance of assigned geographical area.

Evaluate and adapt new methods and technologies regarding Radio Network Optimization, Feature’s, and Trails and Tuning.

HSDPA/ HSUPA QOS Analysis and Monitoring.

Achieve very high level of network performance: Accessibility, Retain ability, Mobility, Service integrity and both cell and user high throughput.

Interference analysis

NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER ALARM MONITORING


JOB DESCRIPTION

Monitor network traffic and performance while maintaining high level of customer satisfaction by providing services fully compliant with Service Level Agreement (SLA) and minimizing impact on customer services

Identify services degradations associated with network events and incidents; isolate root causes

Provide prompt and appropriate follow-up with regular feedback to customers in relation to on-going issues.

Track, re-direct and escalate the workflow of incidents to subsequent support levels (e.e. technical Support Operations) as needed to resolve incidents.

Ensure accurate and timely creation of update and completion of all trouble ticket with prompt escalation and notification of major network faults and customer faults as per NCC Escalation Guidelines, to both customers and to internal management

Generate reports on network performance, trouble-shooting results and routine maintenance of network elements for tracking purposes and learning opportunity.

Provide feedback and recommendation for Operation Support System (OSS) Tools improvements, regarding process flows, event management and correlations.

Preventive maintenance co-ordination with the field team.
