Job Summary
- The MD will be responsible for the planning, organisation and control of the activities of the microfinance bank to ensure continuous growth and profitability of the microfinance bank in Ekiti State.
Responsibilities
- The MD will be responsible to build the organisational structures and business teams to maximize business performance and productivity.
- Set business goals and assigns targets to the employees and ensures that the employees are providing productive results for the Bank.
- Develop strategies to boost sales and revenue (profits) of the bank and plan the future prospects of the Bank.
- The MD will also lead the identification of target market segments and develop strategies for growth.
- The MD will also ensure business compliance with company’s policies, procedures and corporate governance expectations.
- The MD will also supervise all heads of department to achieve efficient, productive, profitable loan and deposit portfolio growth in line with corporate strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum of a first Degree or its equivalent in a Finance or Business related discipline.
- She/He must also have additional qualification or degree (MBA or M.Sc in a related field)
- Must be resident in any of these south-western States (Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti) and be ready to relocate to Ekiti State (if not resident in Ekiti).
- Minimum of 12 years work experience in the financial services industry (most especially microfinance institutions) of which 6 years should be in a senior management position.
- Must have an MCP certification and be a member of CIBN.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian financial services market.
- Knowledge of MFB methodologies, corporate governance procedures and standards.

Job Description
- The role will require the candidate to manage all technical, operations and asset development for the Operator.
- It will also involve managing the G&G, Petroleum Engineering, Well Engineering; Projects, Production Operations, and Materials at the GM level.
Requirements
- Must have a degree in Petroleum Engineering Discipline (preferably up to a Masters Level or MBA).
- A minimum of 15-20 years cognate/relevant Upstream oil and Gas experience 5-6 of which was in senior management position in designated skill pool.
- Good knowledge of general E&P business in a PSC environment (Asset Evaluation, Economics, Development and Facilities, Production Operations).
- JV presentation and good presentation skills both written and verbal in English.
- Exposure to general management where candidate have had responsibility for a multitude of functions (i.e. Sales, Commercial, Operations, QHSE, HR)
- Experience in co-ordinating multi-location teams will be an advantage.
- Ability to resource, develop, manage and motivate team of individuals required to actualize company aspirations
- Must be self-motivated and highly ambitious with a strong desire to be part / driver of company’s aggressive growth program.
- Full knowledge of HSE policies and practices.
