ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:   

ECLP accelerates the development of commercial savvy talent through a structured program combining coursework, job assignments and interactive seminars. The program within GE Power & Water consists of three, eight-month rotational assignments within the strategic, regional and/or product marketing segments. Rotations provide experiences such as strategic growth and innovation, forecasting and analytics, market assessment, competitive intelligence, product management, customer and market segmentation, pricing and commercialization.

ECLP is one of GE’s world-famous leadership development programs. To supplement on-the-job learning, program participants will strengthen their commercial, business, and leadership skills by completing an intensive curriculum consisting of seven weeks of classroom training and in-residence global symposiums. The program is global in scope with participants from the North America, Latin America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), China, Japan, SE Asia, and India.


ECLP exposes members to multiple segments within a given GE business. This rotational experience will highlight the diversity that differentiates GE from other companies and will help to accelerate learning. Upon successful completion of the program, ECLP graduates will be considered for key commercial roles in GE. Members may be required to relocate 2-3 times while on program.


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:   

– Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in preferred location

– MBA or a Master degree

– 5-8 years commercial experience

– Demonstrated achievement and leadership

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to embrace & drive change

SURGERY SALES SPE…T


ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE:   

As a Surgery Sales Spe…t , you will be responsible primarily for the management of the indirect selling chains and support of direct selling chains throughout the region for mobile C-Arm imaging (OEC). Indirect support would encompass, choosing the proper distribution channels for various countries, selection of distributors, establishment of key performance indicators, product training and orientation, local marketing support.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Good working knowledge of radiographic technique, surgical application and good radiographic practice is an important factor.

– This position may manage and coordinate the sales and technical team in support of the sale of the company’s products, and may be called on as a technical product expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions, and close complex technical sales.

– Typically 5-8 years direct work experience.

– Working with the direct and indirect sales teams compiling lists of prospective customers and sales leads.

– Follow up and drive indirect operations as necessary

– Reporting of market dynamics and supporting win/loss reporting mechanisms

– Working with sales leaders and sales representatives to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities

– Providing training to all indirect sales team members and organizations on strategy and product offerings. Provide localtraining to direct teams on a quarterly basis .

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Excellent organizational skills

– Strong presentation skills

– Able to travel within the region

– Valid motor vehicle license

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER


ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE:   

As a Field Service Engineer you will be based at our regional office supporting new and existing marine customers. Field service work will include service, commissioning, trouble-shooting, maintenance, technical advice and training customers on GE equipment on-board ships or on site. The field service work will take place in shipyards, at ports, or offshore or in LNG Plants.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

– Perform on-site installation of electrical systems and equipment; perform ongoing preventive maintenance, repair and calibration after installation.

– Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment.

– Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair and maintenance at customer’s sites.

– Coordinate technical advice and counselling as agreed upon with GE remote Center of Excellence assistance team.

– Develop and further expand technical knowledge and expertise, currently recognized industry standards for engineering ability.

– Maintain knowledge of applicable product line warranties, and accomplish effective warranty administration.

– Plan, prepare and/or instruct both internal and external training programs as required, to impart and perpetuate field engineering and/or product knowledge in area of specialization.

– Perform administrative functions; such as writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, preparing job status reports, reports to customers, time sheet and expense sheets on a complete timely, and thorough basis.

– Maintain knowledge of the report system to the extent required for timely and accurate input of field information necessary.

– Provide leadership and technical direction to skilled labor performing work on customer sites.

– Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:   

– Electrical degree from an accredited university or similar technical qualification with good knowledge on MV drives and motors, and with the ability to provide advice on other GE Equipment.

– Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time (including overseas), is available to respond to out-of-hours calls.

– Acts as Duty Engineer when required to receive out-of-hours calls and determines course of action.

– Must have a valid driver’s license.

– A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required.

– Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria
