Operations Manager at Max Nigeria

MAX is on a mission to fix Africa’s notorious last-mile delivery and online-retail problems by using mobile and web platforms to connect consumers, retail businesses and independent drivers in real-time. We are eliminating all logistics and technology barriers that have historically prevented retail businesses in Africa from realizing their full potential.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Start: Immediate

Job Brief

• Coordinate the recruitment and on-boarding of drivers.


• Interview and test drivers for cultural and regulatory fit.


• Ensure the daily smooth running of all facility operations.


• Monitor the assignment of assets and appropriate documentation to qualified drivers.


• Send daily reports on recruitment and onboarding progress within the city.


• Engage all 3rd party agencies i.e SITA, NPF, FRSC etc, for registration, recruitment and emergency response purposes.


• Check daily Inventory of Assets assigned to drivers


• Check daily Inventory of Assets within the facility


• Responsible for assigning and reassigning assets to all new hires


• Track candidate’s progress within the onboarding program


• Conduct orientation trainings to inform new hires about company policies and procedures


• Develop and suggest creative Onboarding strategies, tactics, funnels and procedures, etc


• Work with other team member to ensure smooth activities with the city

Requirements

• B.Sc/HND in any fields of study


• Must be residing at Ibadan


• Hands on experience with office machines (Printers and Photocopier)


• Knowledge of customer service, office management and basic data recording procedures


• Proficiency in English (oral and written)


• Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word


• Excellent communication and people skills


• Good organizational and multitasking abilities


• Minimum 2-years experience
